Tuileries Garden

Tuileries Garden is a public park of the famous and historic, located between the Louvre and Place de la Concorde in Paris 1st arrondissement. This park is an enclosed space with a length of five hundred yards and three hundred yards, which separated from the new chateau with a single lane. It is divided into rectangular compartments by six gang, and part planted with grass, flower gardens, and small groups of five trees, called Quinconces, and, more practically, with kitchen gardens and vineyards. Was first opened to the public in 1667, and became a public park after the French Revolution. In the 19th and 20th centuries, it is the place where the celebrated Paris, met, promenaded, and relaxed.

This park was built in 1564 at the request of Catherine de Medici. Catherine commissioned landscape architect from Florence, Bernard de Carnesse to build an Italian Renaissance garden, with fountains, a maze, and a cave, decorated with images of plants and animals faience, made by Bernard Palissy. And the Tuileries is the largest and most beautiful parks in Paris at that time.

Tuileries Garden is now one of the places visited by many tourists. They come to relax and enjoy the beauty and history of this park.
